Sadly YDRfm did not win the full time broadcasting license for Yeovil and the surrounding area. This web site has been left online so that people can see what YDRfm achieved during its five years campaigning for a local radio station and to show what YDRfm could have provided for the community.

6 Mar 2003	YDRfm MISSES OUT
	The Radio Authority announced today that YDRfm was not successful in it's application for the broadcasting licence covering Yeovil, Sherborne, Crewkerne and the surrounding areas. YDRfm would once again like to thank all of our supporters, followers, volunteers and advertisers, without whom getting this far would not have been possible.
17 Sep 2002	YDRfm submit licence application
	At 17:00 on Monday, 16th September YDRfm submitted their application for the full time broadcasting license for Yeovil and the surrounding area. Watch this space for more information regarding our application.
20 Jun 2002	Radio Licence advertised
	The full time broadcasting licence for Yeovil was officially advertised on 30-May-2002. YDR FM needs your help to win the licence. Please write to us at the address on our 'info' page indicating your support for the YDR FM licence application.
